The Defuzzification Methods Comparison of Mamdani Fuzzy Inference System in Predicting Tofu Production

One of the tofu-producing companies in Kupang City is Bintang Oesapa. With Covid-19 pandemic,the factory needs to reconsider amount production by taking into account unpredictability ofdemand and resources minimize losses due excessive accumulation or shortages supplies. Indetermining production, Mamdani’s Fuzzy Inference System (FIS) can be used, whichis a method for analysis an uncertain system. This has three stages process ofdecision making, namely fuzzification, inferencing defuzzification. In defuzzification stage,the FIS Mamdani five methods, Centroid, Bisector, Mean Maximum (MOM), Smallestof (SOM), Largest (LOM). study discusses application FISMamdani with methods determining daily tofu production. The purpose thisstudy offer solution first comparing assessing oftofu at Oesapa then that which most appropriate. Theinput variables used this research are demand available stock, whilethe our variable interest. results showed best defuzzificationmethod was MOM accuracy level 94.73% small error value, 5.27%. TheMOM expected aid decision makers productionduring pandemic.
